Along with my Beauty Bay order I received a Boots order the very same day which consisted of more lipsticks🎉
I decided to try a bunch of NYX products as I’ve never tried them before. NYX products are extremely affordable but unfortunately for me in Aberdeen we don’t have an actual counter so I couldn’t try the products first! Anyway out of the 5 products I’m happy with 3.
Sorry these are not very good swatches but these are the three lipsticks that I bought! 2 of these I am extremely happy with and one not so much!
The one I’m not happy with is the middle one and it is called NYX Lip Lingerie Lipstick in Push Up 
While this lipstick is an amazing and beautiful colour it just didn’t not apply nicely at all. It chipped and cracked instantly! Maybe I’m doing something wrong but I was not impressed!
The next lipstick was the NYX Macarons Lippie in Blue Velvet. I am SUPER in love with the colour of this lipstick! It is so bright blue. The only downside to this lipstick is that it is quite greesey and so you find that you are constantly having to top this one up and make sure it hasn’t smudged over your entire face! So worth it though💙
The final lipstick I bought was NYX Liquid Suade Cream Lipstick in Stone Fox. This lipstick is daring but gorgeous and surprisingly easy to pull off! Takes a while to perfect the edges but again it’s so worth it and affordable too! 
The fourth product I bought was for brows! I’m used to using Benefits BrowZings and Benefits GimmeBrow which are both rather expensive so I thought I would try a cheaper dupe so I bought NYX Tinted Brow Mascara in Brunette. I really do love this product however I did have to repurchase it in Chocolate as my eyebrows are very dark. It adds a natural looking tint to your brows and it’s perfect for when you can’t be bothered filling them in!
The last product I bought was a foundation and I really was chancing this one, like I said earlier we don’t have a NYX counter so I had no idea was shade I was. I purchased NYX high definition foundation I medium and wow this was insanely orange. Boots only have a limited range of colours but I think I’ll wait and see what shades other people have before trying again! I have to say the consistency of this foundation was absolutely amazing so I am extremely gutted it was the wrong colour.
Hope this convinced some of you to try the cheapness that is NYX because I’ll definitely be trying a lot more of their lipstick at least!
