Fitness Friday!

April 15, 2016

Being on holiday has really opened my eyes and made me think about just how unhappy I am with my body and so I thought maybe this could be a weekly segment on my blog! Hopefully you guys like it or find it useful 🙂
The above photo was taken yesterday (Thursday 14th of April) in order to give you guys a look at what my body is currently like. I am sitting at around 10 Stone (140lbs) at the moment and I am 5’5. I am a size 10 top and bottom. My ultimate goal is to be 8.5 Stone (119lbs) which I have checked and is a healthy weight for my age and height. I don’t feel that this goal is unrealistic but some may disagree. I’m going to have to work incredibly hard to reach this goal.

Although I wouldn’t be classed as overweight at the moment I have a lot of confidence issues regarding it. I tend to opt for baggier style tshirts in order to cover up my flabby tum!! Saying that, I know that I really need to just tone up my body rather than just losing weight. The two should come hand in hand.

How are you making blog posts of this Holly?

Well my thoughts were to do updates every Friday about how my diet is going and what I am doing to reach my goals ie, foods and workouts. This way I can not only track my improvements but also I may just give some of you the fitness bug too! Some of you may just like the recipes that I share.
My first step to being a size 8 is that I’ve been cutting down my portion sizes at meal times and also cutting down the unhealthy snacks (I’m not ready to give up my crisps just yet!!)

Next is that due to being on holiday I’ve been doing incredible amounts of walking which has really helped and I’m going to keep that up when I get home by walking to college at least once a week.

The final step for the moment is that the hen I get back in joining the gym with my two best friends Kirsty and Jack. We all help to motivate each other and also going to the gym with your friends can make it a much more enjoyable experience!

So there we go, the first post of Fitness Friday! If you are thinking about getting yourself healthy too then please comment and we can all work together and share ideas. LETS DO THIS!
💪🏼❤️

Good luck on your journey! I am also 5’5 and I am 120-22 consistently with weight training. Eat healthy, exercise and practice good self-talk and you’ll be there in no time :). My blog may have some helpful tips for you too!
