Brief Story
From about the age of 15 I wanted to start blogging but I never really had the confidence to do so. I was always worried that people from my school would find ir and they would mock me for it. It wasn’t until I became food friends with Kirsty and she mentioned she wanted to start blogging too that I thought ‘I can do this’. My boyfriend was also really supportive of me. Honestly Kirsty has made a huge impact on my confidence since we became friends.
I started my blog as a hobby and also as a way of taking time out of the real world. Anyone that knows me will tell you I am an incredibly stressy person and writing really does help me to escape for a little bit.
Two Pieces of Advice
I wanted my pieces of advice to be milti-functional and so both of these can be related to life and blogging too.
Be Yourself – Never ever pretend to be someone or something that you are not. If people don’t like you for who you are then quite frankly, that is their problem and they are the ones missing out! Be true to you <3
Be Patient – I am so guilty of this! When I started blogging I thought “People don’t like my blog” because I wasn’t getting any followers but once I started posting more consistently I went from 12 followers to 35 within 2 days which was incredible!
Relating this to the real world, life can be tough but as they say “Good things come to those who wait” and I couldn’t back this quote up more!
