How earth is it June?! This year is absolutely flying by! Will be Halloween before we know it. Since May is now over I thought it was about time that I shared with you guys some of the things that I have been loving over the past month.
So the first thing that I have been loving is the Revolution Flawless Palette – £8. This palette has been my go to for both everyday and evening looks. For being such a cheap palette the pigment is absolutely incredible and long lasting too! I do 9 hours shifts in a hot environment and I can wear this and be assured it will be there by the end of my shift. I have two other revolution palettes that I haven’t got round to having a proper play around with but will definitely do a review on them soon.
Next up is Nivea Express Hydrating Primer – £4.99. This is a moisturising primer which is great for when I have early starts at work and need to get ready in a hurry. It leaves the skin feeling really nourished and soft. I tend to get quite dry skin especially over the winter months so getting a really rich moisturiser over the spring time really helps my skin a lot.
I have 2 lip favourites and funnily enough, they are both by NYX. First is Nyx Lip Lingerie – £6.50. I have it in the colour Push Up. You may remember me moaning about this lipstick in a previous blog post about how it just wouldn’t sit on my lips at all however I was determined to love this product! After about a month of neglecting it I tried it again and to my surprise it sat beautifully! This makes me incredibly happy because the colour is just so gorgeous. It is a brown/mauve colour that is super easy to wear!
The second lipstick is NYX Liquid Suede Cream Lipstick – £6.50. This is in the colour Stone Fox which is simply a beautiful grey. In fact this is the lipstick that I wore for my birthday and I love it so much. I have’t tried to wear this just as an everyday lipstick yet as I haven’t found the courage but I do often wear it on nights out. While grey is a bold choice I think it is a lot easier to wear than people first think and more people should definitely give it a go!
My one and only hair product favourite is the Fudge Urban Iced Coconut Cocktail Hairspray – £5.29. Now okay, you might be thinking “£5.29 for a hairspray Holly?! Are you mad?!” Let me tell you – this hair spray first of all smells incredible! Secondly, this hairspray lasts for such a long time! It has such a strong hold that you only need a very light spray to set your hair and it will definitely last all day.
Short but sweet favourites this month but I want to quickly remind you guys of something! Since most of the products that I have linked above have come from Boots I feel the need to tell you about their advantage cards. You get 4 points for every £1 that you spend in-store and online. Once you have collected enough points you can use them to purchase things again in-stone or online. I think that if you regularly shop in Boots then it definitely worth it because you are essentially getting a reward back for all your hard efforts of spending!! I am obsessed with collecting points and have something crazy like £60 worth of points – Yeah I know, it is sickening how much I spend at Boots.
Anyway I’ll wrap it up there! Thanks for reading guys and let me know in the comments what you’ve been loving!
