Urban Decay Mini Haul

So last week I did my FIRST EVER shop at the Urban Decay stand!  Before that day I had only ever used the Urban Decay Naked Smokey Palette which was gifted to me by an amazing friend of mine for my birthday.

Since I’m on holiday I thought that I would treat myself and took a wonder over to the Urban Decay stand in House of Fraser.  While I was looking around the shop assistant came over and told me that if I were to spend £50 I would get £10 off my shop which I think is a very good deal!  So I really began to look around.  I really don’t know much about urban decay products other than the eye shadow palettes and I was determined to try some new things and not get eye shadow.

Anyway! Enough of that, lets get into the haul shall we?!

The first thing that I was absolutely drawn to was the NAKED ILLUMINATED Shimmering Powder For Face And Body – £22.50.

(Illuminator is in the shade Luminous)

So first off, the packaging is stunning and we all know I’m a sucker for pretty packaging!! You open the lid to find the product but it also lifts up again to reveal a ridiculously soft flat brush.  The next thing that draws you in is the incredible glitter and shine that comes off this product! If you do not like glitter you will not like this product.  The product itself is a very glittery champagne colour  and it is just beautiful.  I have nothing bad to say at all and for the price I am impressed.

The next product I chose was of course a Comfort Matte Vice Lipstick – £15.

(Lipstick is in the shade Uptight)

Again the packaging is amazing, it is gold at the base but goes into a purpley/silver sort of colour which is just gorgeous.  The lid also has a bumpy texture.  The colour is a brown toned nude shade that is definitely a go to for me!  Can already tell I will get a lot of wear out of this colour.  The formula is like nothing I have ever owned! It is described ass a comfort matte and there really isn’t a better way to describe it.  It’s very creamy but also long lasting which is just perfect! The swatch shown above is a single swipe from the bullet.

This is how the lipstick looked after 4 hours of shopping and having tea and cake!  I was very impressed.  As you can see it got a little crumbly in the centre but nothing you can’t fix quickly. Highly recommend!

The final item I bought was AFTERGLOW 8-Hour Powder Blush – £19.

(Blush is in the shade Score)

This is by far the most expensive blusher that I have ever purchased and owned!  I’m sure you already know that I’m going to say I love the packaging because just look at it! It’s so cool!  The blush itself is a very pretty pinky/coral colour with shimmer through it.  I have to say this is not the most pigmented blusher I have ever seen which I sort of expect for the price but with an extra layer or two you find the colour.  Despite this I do really like the product!

Since buying these products it has definitely made me want to try more of their products and much much more of the lipsticks! What are your favourite Urban Decay products?
