Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette

November 7, 2016

Good morning guys – or afternoon/evening where ever you are from!  I finally have another review post for you lovely lot and it is well overdue.  As you can see by the picture I am reviewing the Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette. I am going to review it in different sections rather than the standard one block of text thing that I usually do.  Hopefully this will be more interesting to read and also get my point across about how I feel about the product.

Packaging

So lets start with the packaging because we all know I’m a sucker for it!  I’d give the packaging a 9/10.  It is a gorgeous taupe/brown colour with a really lovely gold print on it.  I really love how slim the packaging is because it means you can fit it almost anywhere – it also makes it a great travel option!

Colour Range

There are 10 different shades in this palette; 6 shimmers and 4 mattes.  The colours in this palette make it great for everyday use as you can create so many different looks purely using this one palette!  As you can see my two favourites are Sweeter end which is a very pretty light pink/nude shade.  I’d be tempted to say it was more of a frost shade than a shimmer but it definitely is not matte.  My other favourite is Delicate Acidity which is a slightly muted purple shimmer shade.  (I apologise for my awful descriptions)

Quality

I cannot fault the quality at all!  Every single one of these colours has an incredible amount of pigment.  They are also quite a buttery consistency rather than chalky like some other brands.  There is also very little fall out because of this which is always a win.

Longevity

I have worn this eyeshadow with and without primer and also with and without setting spray – so I truly have tested every option!  No matter what combination I used these eyeshadows would not budge.  I work at McDonalds which I think is the perfect place to test makeup as it is a hot environment with relatively long hours and a lot of running around to do – I can tell you after a 9 hour shift these eyeshadows were still there without primer or setting spray!

Price

This palette along with others by Zoeva are £18 and I honestly think that they could charge more for this product.  You can a lot for your money and a very good quality product too!  Definitely worth investing in a few of these!

Overall I truly don’t think I have anything bad to say about this palette, I’m in love with it!  I use it almost every single day as they are just so easy to work with!
