SKINCARE SATURDAY|Pixi Glow Tonic

Advertisements

Hello Hello!

Welcome to the first instalment of Skincare Saturday! As you can see by the title I’m going to be discussing the Pixi Glow Tonic.  Glow Tonic is nothing new to the skincare scene however it is still something I love to use and therefore I feel that it is useful to write about it!

What is Glow Tonic? It is described as an oxygenating and exfoliating facial glow tonic. Pixi claim that the liquid helps to tone, tighten and brighten the skin by removing dead skin cells from the surface for healthier looking skin.  The product is good for all skin types, is alcohol free and contains aloe vera to help soothe the skin.

How is it used? I have found it best to use after cleansing and I personally only use it in the morning as I have a different skincare routine for the evening.  I put a few drops onto a cotton pad and wipe it across my entire face and also down my neck.  I am always so shocked at how much dirt this pulls up since I’ve just cleansed! When you hear the word ‘exfoliating’ you expect it to feel quite abrasive or leave you looking a bit red but it couldn’t be any further away from this idea.  It honestly just feels like using micellar water, its actually rather refreshing.

The product itself I believe comes in 2 sizes; 100ml and 250ml.  For the 250ml bottle you are looking to be set back by £18.  Yes I know what you’re thinking – £18 for a toner?! That is exactly how I felt when I first saw it too but once I bit the bullet and gave it a go I realised that this product lasts such a long time that it was genuinely cost effective.

I highly recommend trying this product if you are looking to brighten the skin quickly and without a million and one products. It literally takes seconds to wipe across your face and I saw a noticeable difference by the end of the first week of using it religiously.

Let me know what your thoughts of this product are or if you’ve found something that works even better in the comments below!

See you next Wednesday for a review of the Primark Metallic Lip Crayons!
