BLOGMAS DAY 11 | TOP 5 BERRY LIPSTICKS

December 11, 2018

Bored of me yet?? Today I’d thought I’d post about the most perfect winter lip colour; berry tones! I have countless amounts of berry toned lipsticks but here are a list of my top 5!

*Side note; all the swatch pictures are completed unedited and taken with a flash. ALSO I know the scratch on my arm is annoying and I’m sorry about it*

1. Kiko Milano – Velvet Passion Matte Lipstick in Wine

I was actually given this by Kirsty a couple of years ago and it’s been a loved lippy ever since. This one is more on the pinky side which I think is really nice and easy to wear. It is a creamy formula so it doesn’t dry out your lips which is super important over the winter months.

2. Bella Pierre – Rose Petal

This is actually the only liquid lipstick in my top 5 which surprised me too! I got this as part of a set from TK Maxx quite a while ago and it was a brand I had never heard of before. I can’t remember how much I paid for the set of 4 but it was a bargain and I am so glad I picked them up! This lipstick is a dark berry colour which is fab for a dramatic look. It is a little drying though so definitely need to use a scrub before it.

3. Charlotte Tilbury – Glastonberry

Charlotte Tilbury still remains the most expensive lipstick I have ever bought at a price tag of £24! It is definitely a splurge item but it is beautiful there is no doubt about it. It is super comfortable on the lips and has a really nice matte finish.

4. Make Up Revolution – Rebel with Cause

Make Up Revolution is an incredibly cheap brand and I always kinda discarded that their lipsticks would be any good. I was wrong. This lipstick is priced at £1 and has a really decent amount of pigment! The wear time isn’t so great but for literally ONE pound I think it deserves more credit than it gets.

5. Kat Von D – Studded Kiss in Mercy

Last but not least is the Kat Von D Studded Kiss Creme in Mercy. I got this mini one free when I bought the Lock It Foundation and it is beautiful! It is quite a dry formula that kinda pulls on the lip however I can 100% see past this purely because of the beautiful metallic shade that you get from it.

Are you a fan of berry tones? Let me know what your favourite lipstick is!

Until tomorrow,
