5 days to go!!!
Still not bought all your presents yet? Stressing?? STOP. I’ve got a super simple last minute gift guide for you!
It can be really easy to lose track of time around December and sometimes it is impossible to find the time to get into town and usually sites stop their next day delivery services due to weather or just a overwhelming amount of orders but don’t worry I have 5 quick and easy gift ideas that anyone will love. (p.s Vouchers are the easy way out and I refuse to include them!)
1. Photo frame or album
Framing a photo or making a collage of photos is always a thoughtful gift no mater who you give it to. It is also a great gift if you’re on a budget too! You can pick up frames from pretty much everywhere including Asda, Tesco, or Boots. All of these stores also have photo printing machines that do instant prints straight from your phone. How convenient is that?!
2. Baking
Another last minute and budget friendly gift is to bake! When I first started working I didn’t have a lot of money to splash on everyone so I decided to make and box up chocolate truffles. To see my go to recipe for chocolate truffles click here. Of course it does not have to be truffles it could be cookies, cupcakes, brownies or more.
3. Get Crafty!
Get your paper, glue and scissors at the ready and get your creative juices flowing! A really lovely gift is scrabble art. Scrabble art is basically where you use scrabble pieces to spell out couples/families names and have them all connect. There is a few ways you can do this. You can use plastic or wooden scrabble tiles or you can go for a slightly cheaper option of wood effect stickers! (Which you can buy from here for 50p!!) You could also make things like printed tshirts, photo album, a necklace and so many other things!
4. Subscription Service
If you have a higher budget a subscription box could be ideal. There are so many services out their now for a wide array of hobbies and interests such as; food, make-up, drinks, magazines, books, t shirts, razors and more!
5. Theme Box
If you like the idea of a subscription box/service but don’t want to get caught up in monthly payments then why not create your own? I love these ideas because you can make it super personal to the recipient. Some ideas include;
- A Cosy Night In; mug, hot chocolate, fluffy socks, popcorn and a dvd
- Hangover kit; isotonic gel, snacks, paracetamol, instant ice-pack and an eye-mask
- Snack Box; crisps, chocolate, popcorn, sweeties and fizzy juice
- Pamper Box; face/hair masks, bath bomb/salts, candles and chocolate
- BBQ Box; a mixture of spices and marinates, spatula, tongs and an apron
With 5 days to go I hope one of these 5 ideas gets you inspired! I think they are all perfect for both guys and girls and of any age too. As always if you do decide to use any of these please let me know in the comments!
Bye for now,
