As you may have read in my Valentines Day Outfits post, James and I take a yearly trip in January to celebrate both Valentines day but also our Anniversary. This year we decided to take an overnight trip to Glencoe. It is an area that we both really enjoy and have visited many times already. We decided that instead of a hotel we wanted to find a nice apartment or B&B and stumbled across Outlander on booking.com.

Outlander is a very new property and it only opened up its doors near the end of last year, so I think we were really lucky to find it! You can also find Outlander on other sites such as Airbnb and HomeAway. Now, that area in general is pretty expensive and this apartment was no exception. We paid £110 for a single night however in saying that it was absolutely gorgeous!

The building itself is split into two different apartments – we were on the bottom floor. The apartment consisted of a living room with a dining table, a large bathroom and a large bedroom – ideal for two guests.

The living room was very spacious and decorated modernly with different grey tones. We also had the luxury of a smart TV with access to YouTube, Netflix and AmazonPrime – what more could you want?! We thoroughly enjoyed sitting with a hot chocolate watching Top Gear!

In the living room there was a little area with very basic kitchen needs such as a mini fridge, a toaster, a kettle and a coffee machine. There was of course plenty of silver wear, glasses and mugs too. We were informed that they are planning to install a kitchenette with a hob in the coming months – I believe the upstairs apartment already had this feature when we were there. I think it would be a great addition to the apartments!

The first door down the hallway leads to a very glam looking bathroom with a double sink, bath and separate shower. I honestly fell in love with the bathroom, it is so dreamy! P.s brownie points to anyone who can spot James taking a panorama shot for me (also explains the curve in the roof – I promise it is just the camera rather than a structural issue!)

Time for the main event…. the bedroom! Again, I absolutely fell in love with the decor in this room. It was very modern and luxurious feeling.

The bed was super comfortable and like the living room the bedroom was set up with its own smart TV which meant we could continue watching Top Gear episodes in bed.

And if everything I have said already hasn’t persuaded you to check out this place then I’m pretty sure that the view will! Imagine waking up to this view every morning – absolutely breath taking!

Overall, if you are looking for a beautiful and clean apartment with incredibly kind owners then this is well worth looking into! We both absolutely loved our stay here and would 100% go back again especially once the kitchenette is fitted so we can stay in and cook our own meal rather than going out. Although if you did want to go out for food there is plenty of restaurants to choose from that are distance from the apartment.

Are you a fan of the Glencoe area? Let me know 😊

Until Thursday,
