BLOGMAS DAY 12| THE CHRISTMAS TAG

Would it be Blogmas without a good old Christmas Tag! I have taken the tag questions from a fellow blogger Quite Simply Stella so please head over to her blog and check out her answers too! P.S her one is prettier!

1. Who makes Christmas Day special for you? 

My family do! I don’t think I could pick one person! I have 2 nieces and 1 nephew who have definitely helped spark the Christmas magic again so if I had to be more specific I guess it would be those 3.

2. Do you prefer your Birthday or Christmas?

Christmas for sure! As I’ve grown up I feel like my birthdays just aren’t anything different – unless it’s a special one of course (i.e 18th, 21st, 30th etc) Birthdays are just another night out with too much vodka! At least with Christmas there is a lot of tasty food to make yourself sick with.

3. Use one word to describe your excitement for Christmas

I’m not entirely sure how to answer this one? Joyful? Hungry?

4. Most surprising Christmas moment

Heres a soppy answer for you all – my most surprising Christmas moment is probably back in 2015 when James ‘officially‘ became my boyfriend. We were at a friends house on Christmas night and he super romantically turned to me and said “So we official then?” I know I’m so lucky! All jokes aside it was definitely not a gift I was expecting that year!

5. What do you like to do on Christmas break?

I work up until the 24th so I don’t technically get a Christmas break before then however we do take from the 25th until after the New Year off and for the past 2 year my best friend and I have always gone away and this year is no different! This year we are off to Berlin for New Year – if you have any recommendations I’d love to know!

6. What are your favourite holiday traditions?

Hot apple juice, mulled wine, Christmas songs and mince pies!

7. What is the best gift you have ever received?

This is a cruel one! Presents have different reasons for being great! Last year my Dad gave me a two night stay of choice for two which I really appreciated because I had not long started 4th year at uni and a wee break was more than needed!

8. What is the worst gift you have ever received?

I remember when I was younger I was very much a tom-boy and my mum would buy me dresses most years. I never liked saying I didn’t like something so I would always make excuses like “it doesn’t fit” but I think she knew I just hated dresses!

9. What is your all time favourite holiday food/treat?

Definitely mince pies! I really need to try and make my own some year!

10. What is your favourite Christmas film?

Hands down, The Snowman is my favourite and it always has been. I remember no matter what time of year it was if I was off school sick, I was tucked up in bed with the video on to make me feel better.
