It’s been a little while since I have written about The Body Shop so what better time than now! Last night I attended the bloggers VIP night at the Aberdeen store and as always had a lovely time listening about all the new products and catching up with other bloggers.
For anyone who may not know; The Body Shop are completely against animal testing and have stood by this for many years. Each year they have a different mission in making the world better and this year their theme is the enchanted forest. Every purchase made this Christmas will help to protect and re-wild over 10 million square metres of forest in England and Armenia as part of their World Bio-Bridges Mission. To learn more about this click here.
The night was to highlight their new Christmas range which contains 3 new scents; Berry Bon Bon, Peppermint Candy Cane and Vanilla Marshmallow. Each scent is very different but also very Christmassy!
These scents don’t just come in hand creams; they come in body butter, shower gel, body scrub and bath foam all of which are at different price points. I highly suggest the shower gels from The Body Shop has they are highly scented an last on your skin for hours after especially if you pair it with a body butter.
Another thing that they have brought out are these super adorable festive sacks which come in all 3 of the Christmas scents. These cost £18 each and contain a 60ml shower gel, 50ml body scrub, 50ml body butter and a 30ml hand cream in the scent of your choice. A lovely gift for all ages!
Another cute little gift option are these house sets. Again they come in all 3 of the Christmas scents and contain a 50ml body butter, 60ml shower gel and a bath lily for just £9. They have similar sets in their original scents that are just £6 and again can be a lovely gift or stocking filler.
Body butters cost £15 for a 200ml tub and with around 20 different scents there is definitely something for everyone. The Body Shop have recently introduced their personalising system where you can print a little label with either your own name or someone else’s name and have it stuck onto the body butter that you choose. I think this is such a lovely stocking filler or gift idea for Body Shop lovers!
On a less Christmassy note, did you know that The Body Shop have a section for men too? Both of the 100ml bottle Eau De Toilettes are just £18 and genuinely smell really good. My boyfriend particularly likes the White Musk Sport and using the roll on deodorant to match! To check out the full mens range click here.
I have to admit, I’m a bit of a Body Shop geek and I truly love and believe in their products. I use a lot of their skincare and like I mentioned I have written about them quite a lot! Click here to read about their Vitamin E range and here to read a bit more about their body butters.
