BLOGMAS DAY 14 | STYLING CHRISTMAS JUMPERS

December 14, 2018

Okay so, I am pretty far from being a fashion blogger however today I am teaming up with Kirsty Jarvie to bring you some fashion related content! Since it is Christmas Jumper day, it made sense to do a Christmas jumper post. If you want to know more about Christmas jumper day then click here.

Kirsty is a lifestyle and fashion blogger/youtuber in Aberdeen and you can find her Instagram here. We’ve been trying to collab for a while but with Kirsty going back to uni and me starting a full time job it’s been really difficult to find the time together BUT, here we are! Finally finding the time to do some Christmas content together.

My first jumper is the boohooMAN roll neck fairisle Christmas jumper in cream. (£18) Yup, I got a mens jumper. I really wanted a cream jumper as I felt like it would be super easy to style a few different ways and I couldn’t see one I liked in the women’s section. It is really comfortable although the neck was a little too high for me but maybe that is because it’s mens?? Still a good buy!

I decided to pair it with the ASOS DESIGN Petite mini wrap skirt in polka dot print (£18), black tights and boots which I felt dressed it up quite nicely – staying comfy too of course. I really love this skirt! It was really comfortable and sat nicely in the right places. It is quite thin though so I’d definitely be careful on a windy day! You could also pair this jumper with black jeans and trainers too.

I also wanted to throw a Christmas T-shirt into this post. I am a big fan of Christmas T-shirts mainly I overheat pretty easily and well… I’d rather not! I opted for the ASOS DESIGN Christmas t-shirt with glitter print and contrast binding (£12). This t-shirt is actually really comfortable and also super easy to style. I think the sizing runs a little small in this t-shirt though. I am usually a 12-14 and this t-shirt is a size 16, just something to keep in mind.

I decided to try something a little different and chucked on these ASOS DESIGN relaxed boyfriend jeans in light vintage blue wash (£35), a chunky belt and some vans. I genuinely really love this outfit. I think it looks effortless but put together too. I usually stick to black skinnies but I think these jeans have inspired me to venture out!

You could definitely pair this t-shirt with a denim skirt and boots to be more dressed up for a night out.

Make sure you head over to Kirsty’s blog to see how she styled her jumpers this year!

Hope you liked this little change in the blog and if you did (or didn’t) please let me know in the comments.
