Soap and Glory are a huge brand that have diversified into producing many different products. They have body wash, body scrubs, products to tone and firm, body creams, body sprays, hand sanitiser, make up, a skincare range and travel bags. They also do a lot of there products in mini/travel sizes. Some of their products can be on the pricier side of things but their body washes and scrubs really do last and I feel like that justifies the cost!
Soap and Glory have a very cute and distinctive packaging. All of the products are pink or white and tend to have vintage looking pictures of equipment or women. They also tend to have funny and clever names for example they have a lipstick range called “Sexy Mother Pucker”. There is so many different scents released and they tend to have matching lotions for the washes and scrubs.
So anyway, I have 8 products that I’m going to share with you. I’ve gone for a fairly good range of different things and I am impressed with the majority of it. I will add in how much they are and the size along with a link to where you can buy them. Enjoy!
Size: 300ml Cost: £8
OMG. This scrub smells SO good! It genuinely does smell like maple syrup! It is filled with oats, sugar, shea, bananas, almonds and honey extracts. As you can see I am running out of this stuff and I will definitely be repurchasing it! A little really does go a long way when it comes to this scrub and it leaves your skin feeling silky soft and smooth. I will warn you that this scrub is incredibly harsh so if you have really sensitive skin it maybe isn’t the best for you or just be very gently when rubbing it in.
Size: 200ml Cost: £7
This scrub is a lot softer on the skin but still has an impact on the feeling of your skin. It would be one you could use every other day where-as the Smoothie Star I would only use once a week or even once every 2 weeks. I’d say this scrub has more of a floral scent but not too over powering.
Size: 500ml Cost: £6.50
I have tried a number of the body washes but this one is by far my favourite! They have so many products in this scent that it is unreal! It has a very strong, sweet lime smell – I know, I know, lime and sweet don’t work in one sentence but trust me that is how it smells! It works just like an ordinary body wash but what I love is that the smell lingers – in a good way of course. You can smell it for hours after your shower and I’m sure that if you used the body lotion as well it would intensify it further.
Size: 350ml Cost: £6.00
This wash claims to be a 3-in-1 daily detox for your face. I want to say that it has a slight minty smell to it but don’t quote me on that one. It is a gentle exfoliator which makes it great for everyday use. It lathers up well and makes your skin feel really smooth. I feel that I have seen a difference in my skin since using it. I definitely haven’t had as many major breakouts.
Size: 350ml Cost: £6.00
For a long time now I have been a big fan of using Micellar Water to remove my make up and cleansing. I decided I was going to try Soap and Glorys version but when I went to buy it both Boots stores I went to had sold out so instead I thought I would try the cleansing milk. Believe it or not this one has a strong peach smell to it. It feels very soothing on the skin which is nice for just before bed time as it is very relaxing and it takes of my make up with ease. I would say though – I don’t like using this in thee morning as it feels quite heavy. I still use Micellar Water in the morning before doing my make-up.
Size: 25 Cloths Cost: £4.50
I’ve never tried pore reducing products before and honestly I haven’t noticed much of a difference from using these. I have noticed that when using them there is a slight sting to my face and I’m unsure if that is normal or not.
Size: – Cost: £10.50
I’m really not sure that this mascara is worth £10.50 considering it doesn’t do very much. Maybe it’s just my eyelashes but it really just coats the lashes rather than giving them any length or lift. This product really hasn’t worked for me but maybe it will work for you! Let me know in the comments if you have this mascara and love it.
Size: – Cost: £10.00
This lip gloss is meant to plump your lips and for £10 I would expect to see a noticeable difference but honestly I was a bit disappointed. You instantly feel the sting and tingly sensation but it wears off after 10 minutes or so. While noticing a small difference I feel like there is much better lip plumpers on the market for a lower price.
There we go, my one brand review! I hope this has maybe helped or inspired you to go out and try their products. I would like to add that although the two make up products I have mentioned were not very good (in my opinion) I know for a fact that their blushes are bronzers are great and I will be purchasing them next. My point is simply don’t be put off trying the products based on my review. Also guys let me know if you would like more One Brand Reviews like this! I had a lot of fun doing it.
Hope you are well 🙂
