DECEMBER FAVOURITES | Better late than never right?

January 11, 2018

Hello lovelies!

I am definitely pushing it with how late I am posting this one but lets just ignore that! I’ve been behind in blogging so far this year due to being really unwell and having coursework/exams at uni.

Anyway, lets get into my December favourites shall we?

Make up and skincare

My first favourite item is the ColourPop Lippie Stix in the shade Ziggie. It is a beautiful red toned brown and I honestly cannot get enough of it! It was the first Lippie Stix that I have tried and I am obsessed with the formula! It is so creamy and soft but dries down completely matte! I will say they are a little tricky to apply the first few times.

I received this mascara through an Influenster Vox Box and I cannot get enough of it! I believe this product retails for £22 which is a pretty steep price for mascara however, it creates such beautiful dramatic lashes. If you are into almost clumpy lashes then this is for you! Also the packaging is stunning!

My skincare favourite for December is The Body Shop – Chinese Ginseng and Rice Clarifying Polishing Mask This masks is incredible! I try to use it once a week to keep my skin feeling super fresh. It does have a heavy scent but honestly, I have no idea how to describe it so I’m not going to try! It is quite a thick mask but it doesn’t leave your skin feeling tight or dry which is a huge bonus for me.

I have two clothing favourites this month! The first being this amazingly comfy and cozy jumper from Primark. This jumper was a bargain at £13 and I have been wearing it none stop! It has a slightly lower and curved hem at the back and it fits like a dream. Absolutely perfect for the cold weather.

My next favourite are these black low heeled combat boots. I actually bought these… 4/5 years ago!! They are holding up so well and are the most comfortable boots I have ever worn in my life. I feel like they casually dress up any outfit and if anyone knows where I can get another pair simmilar to these I will be eternally grateful!

I have recently rediscovered my love for Jo Malone, in particular the scent Wild Bluebell. It is a light floral scent and it is just devine. Definitely perfect for spring time. I don’t often treat myself to Jo Malone purely because of the price but since christmas has just passed my Mum bought me a bottle and I am very lucky to recieve it!

I’ve watched so many series on Netflix this month inlcluding Zumbo’s Just Desserts, Skin Wars and Miranda however my top series this month was BY FAR The Good PlaceI won’t tell you much about it as I would hate to give away the many twists and turns in the storyline but I promise you it is worth watching!

This month I re-found my love for Tati. Her honest reviews are something I absolutely adore and respect. She is definitely someone I look up to in the beauty community!

Dry shampoo

Dry shampoo is just an absolute saviour! Recently my hair has been causing me troubles and being constantly greasy looking – even after washing and drying it – so having dry shampoo gives my hair that little boost of freshness! This one has been my favourite for years, it smells great and doesn’t leave too much whitecast!

AND that my dears concludes my December favourites and my last post of 2017. May 2018 be as good as this year! I hope you all have a wonderful new year!

Bye for now,
