Day 3 of ARW 2024 and today let’s chat about @allbaroneaberdeen

All Bar One are offering 2 courses for £15 or 3 courses for £20 as part of their Aberdeen Restaurant Week offer. With an array of small plates, mains, burgers and sweets – it’ll make for some difficult decisions!

We didn’t visit during Restaurant Week however a couple of the dishes we had a featured in the offer. On our trip we opted for the 5 small plates for £33.50 which is a great deal for a Sunday lunch date.

What we ate;

🍗 Bumbu Bali Chicken Skewers
🌶 Karaage Sticky Chicken (Features on the ARW Menu)
🦀 Crab Tacos
🦑 Salt and Pepper Calamari (Features on the ARW menu)
🧀 Chorizo and Halloumi Skewers

Calamari is a common theme in any of my restaurant visits – if its on the menu, I’m gonna order it. My only bug bare, its the sauce. The dish comes with a Sweet Chilli and Lime sauce on the side which isn’t unpleasant, I just would rather have a creamier cocktail type sauce (personal preference though)

Our absolute stand out dishes of the day were the Karaage Sticky Chicken (featured on the ARW Menu) and the Bumbu Bali Chicken Skewers;

If you’re visiting All Bar One this week you absolutely need to try the Karaage Sticky Chicken; I could eat hundreds of these bad boys! The perfect balance of sweet and sticky with a tasty chilli jam on the side. The Bumbu Bali Skewers aren’t on the ARW menu but definitely worth a try on the side.
