I don’t know about you but I am forever jealous of those girls who can chuck on joggers and tie their hair up in a messy bun and still look fabulous! Being comfy doesn’t mean you have to look scruffy and so I have teamed up with Femme Luxe Finery again to bring you some cute yet comfy outfits. I was gifted the items in this post however this does not at all sway my review of the brand or item.
First lets talk about these Crocodile Print Leggings. I purchased these in the biggest size they offer which is a 12 and although they kind of fitted I could have definitely used a size up. In saying that they are definitely designed for a taller lady as there seemed to be a fair amount of bunched up material around my ankles! Other than that, the material felt decent and they weren’t see through either which is of course very important! I’ve teamed these with some Vans however I think in the right fit I would definitely chuck on heeled boots and wear these for a night out with the girls.
The top is also of course a Femme Luxe item. It is the Black Lips Printed Oversized Long Sleeve Shirt Dress – bit of a mouthful! Since this was described as oversized, I opted for a Medium and it fit almost perfectly! I definitely couldn’t get away with it as dress but as a t-shirt to lounge in, it is fab. It is slightly thicker than a standard t-shirt which is great for me since Aberdeen is cold 98% of the year!
The next item I was given was the Black Off Shoulder Loungewear Set. You may notice I am not wearing the top for this set and it is simply because it was too cropped for me – which I am gutted about! If they did this set in a non crop top version, I’d buy it in every colour. The material is really soft and I’ve been wearing the joggers on the daily! I chose to get the set in the biggest size which was 12/14 and again I would have preferred it them to be slightly bigger to maximise comfort. I am definitely keen to try more of their loungewear sets to see if the quality continues through-out all of the ranges.
I am so conflicted by these Stone Crocodile Cigarette Trousers. I love the colour and the print, I am just not sold on the fit! Online these looked like they would be a bit more structured however they are more of a jogger material – which is fine, definitely falls into the ‘looks like I’ve made an effort but haven’t’ sort of vibe. I got these in a 12 and everything fit great apart from the crotch area… There was too much fabric, yet no matter how you stand it looks like you have the worlds biggest camel toe and that is not the look I wanna rock this year! I am gutted these don’t fit so well because otherwise I would have definitely worn them for lounging around the house, going to work and probably nights out too!
I’ve been working with Femme Luxe Finery for a couple of months now and each review is completely honest to ensure that you chose the best items they have to offer. Why not check out my last post with them – Fashion Faves or Fashion Fails.
