[This post contains gifted clothing from Femme Luxe Finery]

This year I challenged myself to take summer clothing and style it all the way through autumn and winter. Usually as soon as the cold autumn weather arrives, I hop onto my laptop and order in a bunch of cosy items to keep me warm. Not only is this an incredibly expensive habit but it isn’t sustainable either. It is very possible to take those dresses and cami’s and layer ’em up instead!

I received 4 items from Femme Luxe Finery that are great for the summer and had to figure out a way to style them so that they continue to be perfect for autumn too.

Lace bodysuits have been insanely popular this summer and it’s not something that I have really gotten on board with. In the spirit of trying new things I decided to go all out and pick up this very bright, neon, clasp front bodysuit.

If you’re brave enough you wear this with nothing underneath but be aware that you will need nipple covers because it is completely see-through. For a warming option, I decided to throw on a basic black tee. For an even warmer look you could definitely pair this with a thick turtle neck jumper. I love the contrast of the orange and black together, I think it really makes your outfit pop.

A shirt or blouse is a pretty versatile item to have in your wardrobe. They can be paired with pretty much anything! Tucked into a cute pair of shorts or skirt through the summer makes for a super comfy yet stylish look.

Or style your shirt with a thick pair of mom jeans and some trainers and you’re ready for the cold. This Polka Dot Fishnet Sleeve Shirt has been very well loved in my wardrobe this season for both casual and work purposes. It is definitely on the thin side ad so I put a cami underneath just to add some more warmth!

Mini skirt’s are definitely an item that I relate to summer rather than autumn/winter. Over the warm, summer months you can pair mini skirts with cropped tshirts or cami’s and you’re good to go!

This super cute zip front skirt actually comes as part of a set with a square neckline crop top and a western style belt. I ordered this in a size Large (12 /14) however the top and belt were a no go for me! Not to fear though! Instead, I paired the skirt with some cosy black tights and my current fave striped jumper and I was good to go!

These trousers are another super versatile item to have in your wardrobe. They are great for pairing with pretty much anything! A little black cami and some black sandal heels and you’re set for a summer night out.

For a more wintery and warm look I decided to pair these khaki trousers with a black tee, my orange bodysuit from earlier, an over-sized denim jacket and of course… my new favourite chunky boots! I absolutely love how this look turned out and I’m obsessed with how comfortable these slim leg trousers are too. They are just so flattering!

Are you guilty of buying new clothes for every season? Are you trying to rewear your summer favourites for autumn/winter? Let me know!
