If you’ve visited Dundee recently and NOT gone to Gidi Grill then you are doing it wrong!
Gidi Grill is a West African & Caribbean restaurant based near Dundee City Centre. They use specially selected cuts of meat that are sourced locally to ensure the freshest taste and quality. They also marinate these meats in a unique blend of house spices before grilling over hot charcoal.

Stephen opted for the GIDI BAD BOY HOT DOG – A Jumbo smoked hot dog poached in beer then charcoal grilled. Served with skinny fries, Jícama coleslaw and sauce on a toasted pretzel roll with caramelised onions. This was incredible! The flavour was indescribably great and he couldn’t argue with the portion size either 🌭

I went for something a little different and got the FISH BASKET A mix of Grilled king prawn skewer, crispy calamari and hake fish fillet. This also came with a side of skinny fries. WOW. I don’t think that I could rave about this dish more! This is a pricey dish at £23.95 but it truly was worth every penny. The fish tasted fresh and delicious – I seriously struggled to finish it all! 🐟

We highly recommend adding this to your ‘must visit’ list! Incredible food, great service and a beautiful little venue overall.
P.S Did you know Gidi Grill is coming to Aberdeen?! 🙌🏼🍽
