 CAFE HARMONY

Day 5 of Aberdeen Restaurant Week already! The week is truly flying by. @cafeharmonyabz is up next in the review list!

A little while back the girls and I decided to take a trip to Cafe Harmony, marking my first visit to the restaurant. The cute and eclectic Italian / Mediterranean is situated on the corner of Bon Accord Terrace. Everything inside is a little mis-matching yet matching at the same time; an aesthetic I truly love!

For ARW, Cafe Harmony are offering an incredible 3 courses for just £20! There is a choice of 3 starters, 3 mains and 2 desserts.

STARTERS @CAFE HARMONY

After much humming and haying we decided to go for a sharing board to get us started.  We opted for the Harmony Earth Board; Harmony Hummus, Roasted Red Pepper Pate & Patatas Bravas.  What a treat! We all agreed that the Pate wasn’t the consistency that we were expecting but the flavours were incredible.  There were also some olives and pitta bread around the platter which was a great addition.

MAINS @ CAFE HARMONY

With an array of delicious sounding dishes, it was not easy deciding what route to go down.

Laura opted for the Spaghetti Alla Norma; A Traditional Sicilian Dish made with Tomato, Aubergine and Feta Cheese. This just looked so delicious!  Kirsty also had a veggie option of the Vegetable Tagine; Aromatic Couscous with Mixed Roasted Veggies in a Rich Tomato Sauce.  A mound of couscous topped with a healthy portion of roasted veggies

Shellfish Risotto

Paige and I both chose for the Shellfish Risotto; Creamy Risotto with Mussels, King Prawns and Squid. My Oh My this was great. There was so much seasoning and flavour to this dish I was completely amazed! There was also no scrimping on the shellfish either which was great to see.

Each of us left Cafe Harmony very full and very happy!
